1. Insert the sealing plugs as far as they will go.
Secure with profile clips.
2. Insert the connection pipes as far as they will go.
Secure with profile clips.
3. Fit the elbow to the return connection.
4. Fit the tee to the flow connection.
5. Insert the sensor well into the tee, counterholding
the tee.

Covering the collector

Commission the solar thermal system as quickly as
possible once the collectors have been installed.
To reliably prevent steam hammer, the collectors must
be cold when filled. Cover the collector arrays.

6. Insert the strain relief into the sensor well.
7. Guide the collector temperature sensor as far as
possible into the sensor well and secure with strain
relief.
8. Insert support sleeves in the solar circuit pipework.
Make the connection between the collector array
and the solar circuit pipework.
9. Fit thermal insulation and affix to the cut edges.
In the delivered condition, the collectors are covered
with a protective film for this purpose. Remove this
protective film no later than 4 weeks following col-
lector installation.
