Be careful not to lose the
wireless keys
Be careful not to lose the wireless key registered
to the hard disk drive. If you lose both of the
wireless keys, the hard disk drive cannot be
recognized by your computer. See "If you lose a
wireless key/If the wireless key is broken" (page
22).
Make sure to backup the
data with some other media
Make sure to backup the data of the hard disk
drive. If the data cannot be restored as a result of
hard disk trouble, Sony will not accept any
liability whatsoever.
On battery replacement
Replace all the batteries soon if the BATT
indicator flashes. A malfunction may occur if you
keep using the weak batteries. Alkaline batteries
are recommended.
When disconnecting the
hard disk drive
Make sure that the POWER indicator or ACCESS
indicator goes off before disconnecting the drive.
For details, refer to "Disconnecting the drive from
the computer" (page 12).
