G. Appliance Break-In
Follow the initial break-in procedure below to cure the
materials used to manufacture the fireplace and the
fnishing materials around it.
• The fireplace should be run three to four hours
continuously on high.
• Turn the fireplace off and allow it to cool completely.
• Remove fixed glass assembly. See Section 4.B.
• Clean fixed glass assembly. See Section 4. Clean glass
refractory on a TRUE-G appliance. See Section 11 of the
appliance installation manual.
• Replace the fixed glass assembly and run continuously
on high an additional 12 hours.
Note: The IPI system has a safety feature that automatically
shuts down the fireplace after 9 hours of continuous
operation without receiving a command from the remote
control. If this occurs, restart the appliance.
NOTICE! Open windows for air circulation during fire-
place break-in.
• Some people may be sensitive to smoke and odors.
• Smoke detectors may activate.

Heat output may be controlled on TRUE models by
adjusting the "FLAME" setting on the remote control.
