READ THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS THROUGHOUT BEFORE
STARTING THE INSTALLATION
Important
Check the tub upon reception throughout (specifically, check for vis-
ible damage to the exterior packaging). Notify the carrier if damage
is found, in accordance with the laws in force.
CHECK THAT THE ARRANGEMENTS ARE SUITED TO THE IN-
DICATIONS SHOWN ON THE PRE-INSTALLATION CARD.
m (IEC 60335-1/A2:2006) The pressure in the plumbing sys-
tem feeding the device must not exceed 600 kPa (6 bars).

Preliminary operations

Two people are required to install the Infinito® tub on an appropri-
ately levelled surface.
The tub may be installed on a finished floor or raised platform. Re-
member that the weight of the tub full of water on the floor is con-
siderable (see preliminary installation instruction card).

1 part 1) Arrange the tub in the installation position hold-
ing it raised from the ground with wooden blocks.
(part 2) Assemble the siphon drainage column and tighten the
ring nut well.
(part 3) Connect the siphon to the drain pipe prepared for this
purpose and carefully apply silicone to the joints.
(part 4) For perfect sealing, apply silicone or equivalent sealant to
the drainage column seal.
(part 5) Using an Allen wrench, tighten the ring nut on the drain-
age column to tighten it well.
(part 6) Run water into the tub (with the drain plug open) for
a few minutes and check that all connections are sealed. Check
that there are no leaks.
(part 7) Screw the "click-clack" plug onto the drainage column.

2 part 1) Remove the wooden blocks and rest the tub on
the floor.
(part 2) Level the tub and check that the tub drains smoothly
and completely.
(part 3) If necessary, install wedges on the resting surface for ex-
tra thickness.
(part 4-5) If the tub is fixed to the floor, it is advisable to raise
it slightly and apply a non-acetic silicone bead (approximately 1
cm) around the entire perimeter of the tub.
At the end of the operation, reposition the tub on the floor and
check that it is levelled perfectly.

Daily maintenance

n Soap and water or common detergent is recommended for
cleaning the Techstone® tub.
Gel detergents, abrasive detergents and scouring pads of the
"Scotch Brite®" type may be safely used on Techstone®. Rinse all
surfaces carefully after cleaning.
How to remove stubborn stains, scratches and
burns
n Use of a "Scotch Brite®" type scouring pad and an abrasive
cleaning product is recommended for removing stubborn stains,
scratches, cigarette burns and small scuffs.
Rub the surface of the concerned part. If this is not enough, rub
the area with very fine sandpaper and cream or powder deter-
gent containing micro granules to delicately scrape the surface.
Methylated spirit may be used. Rinse the treated surface carefully
afterwards.
Cautions
This device may be used by children 8 years and older and
by people with reduced motor, sensory and/or cognitive
skills only when supervised and only if they have the knowl-
edge necessary to use the equipment in a safe manner and
are aware of the risks associated with improper use.
Children must be supervised to make sure that they do not
play with the equipment or carry out operations that need to
be performed by an adult or specialised personnel (mainte-
nance, cleaning operations, etc.).
n It is dangerous to use or access electric devices from inside
the tub (radio, hairdryer, etc.).
n Be careful if you want to use the tub on your own: soaking
in hot water for a long time can cause nausea, dizziness and
fainting.
n It is not recommended to use the tub taking drugs or med-
icines which can induce sleepiness or raise/lower your blood
pressure.
n Never use water hotter than 40 °C.
n Use of aggressive chemical products, such as nail polish
remover, trichloroethylene, strong acids (hydrochloric acid,
etc.) and strong bases (caustic soda, etc.), industrial deter-
gents, paint solvents is NOT RECOMMENDED for cleaning.
DO NOT use metallic scrapers, iron brushes or other metallic
tools for removing stains, paint, plaster or the like.
Some substances, such as ink, cosmetics and colourings,
may stain the surface of the tub in depth and beyond repair
in case of prolonged contact. Cigarettes may cause similar
damage.
