OPERATING THE
APPLIANCE
Quick start

Assemble the nozzle, telescopic
tube and hose as shown on
page 3.

Pull out the mains cable to it's
full length and plug into the
mains supply.

Switch on by pressing the foot
pedal ›.
Accessories

Fit the hose to the cleaner by
inserting the hose end into the
hose inlet ⁄. When removing,
squeeze the clip and pull.

Attach the telescopic tube to
the handle end of the hose.
Extend to the required length by
pressing down the slider release
and pulling out the tube A.
The hose handle features an
airflow regulator  which
allows suction to be reduced as
required.

Attach the wheeled floor nozzle
Î to the tube.
The crevice tool È is ideal for
use in awkward places, behind
radiators etc, and the upholstery
tool Í for curtains and
upholstery B.
Both these tools are stored
beneath the lid.
CONTROLS
Power
The on/off control is operated
by the foot pedal ›.
Variable power
A dial fi varies the suction
power as required. For example,
maximum suction can be used
for cleaning carpets, hard floors
etc. and reduced suction for
cleaning upholstery and
curtains.

Suction can also be controlled
using the airflow regulator  on
the handle. Closed for maximum
suction, open for reduced
suction.
Automatic cable
rewind
After use, unplug and press the
cable rewind pedal ¤ to retract
the cable.
WARNING: When using the
cable rewind, always hold the
plug as the cable will rewind
quickly.
Using the turbo
nozzle
Attach the turbo nozzle Ï to
either the hose handle to clean
stairs or upholstery or the
telescopic tube for floor
cleaning.
Do not pick-up large debris with
the turbo nozzle as this may
block the fan inside the turbo
nozzle.
Cleaning the turbo
nozzle
To maintain optimum
performance, regulary remove
any hairs or fibres that may have
become wrapped around the
brush. Snip the hairs/fibres with
scissors before pulling away. If
debris get into the fan, the flap
on the bottom of the nozzle may
be opened to remove. Make
sure the flap is securely closed
before re-use.
