Installing the lower triple clamp

Main work
–
Pull the fuel tank breather hose out of the steering head
screw.
–

Remove screw .

Remove screw .
–

Open cable holder in front of the left radiator and detach
the clutch line.
–
Take off the upper triple clamp with the handlebar and set
aside.
Info
Protect the components against damage by covering
them.
Do not kink the cables and lines.

Remove O-ring and protective ring
–
Remove the lower triple clamp with the steering stem.
–
Remove the upper steering head bearing.
Main work
–
Clean the bearing and sealing elements, check for damage,
and grease.
High viscosity grease (
–
Position the lower triple clamp with the steering stem. Mount
upper steering head bearing.
–
Check whether upper steering head seal
