6.3. System Reboot

Press R on the Switch Tools Configuration menu, and then you can see System
Reboot Menu as Figure 6-5. This screen allows you to restart this device.

Screen Description
Reboot Type
The following describes commands to be used on this screen.
O Operate to restart the method of restarting (merely), or to return to the condition of the factory
default settings.
Press O (command), and then the appearance of the command prompt becomes "Select
reboot option (N/F)>". Press N to operate a normal restarting, and F to return all to the
condition of the factory of default configuration.
R Operate to restart.
Press R (command), and then the appearance of the command prompt becomes "Are you
sure to reboot the system (Y/N)". A reconfirmation is operated. Press Y to execute, and N
to stop.
Q Returns to the top menu.

Displays the method of restarting. The factory default settings is "Normal".
Normal Operates a normal restarting.
Factory Default All of the configurations return to the factory default
settings.
