2.4. Main Menu

After you log-in, the appearance of the command prompt becomes the Main
Menu as Figure 2-6. The Main Menu of this device consists of the Main Menu and
Sub menu, and has a tree structure, centering the Main Menu. Enter the command
characters to move to the sub menu, and then press Q (command) to return to the
top menu. The second line of the screen provides you with menus available when
using it.

Screen Description
General Displays the information on the hardware and firmware of this device, and the
Information contents of the address configuration.
Basic Switch Configures a basic function of this device (e.g. IP address, SNMP, and port config-
Configuration uration).
Advanced Configures the extension function of this device (e.g. the function of VLAN, link
Switch aggregation, a spanning tree, QoS, IGMP snooping, and PoE power supply).
Configuration
Statistics Displays the statistic information of this device.
Switch Tools Configures the bells and whistles of this device (e.g. firmware version-up, saving
Configuration and loading the configuration, Ping, and system-log).
Save Writes in the built-in memory for the content configured on this device.
Configuration to
Flash
Quit Ends the Main Menu to return to the log-in screen.
