The connection surfaces of the valve, the valve installation surface and the flange
surface must be clean and free from hydraulic fluid.

Use non-linting fabric for cleaning the valve connection surfaces.
1.
Remove the protective covers from the valve.
2.
Prior to assembly, check whether the seals are placed into the connection
counterbores of the safety valve and are not damaged. If required, retrofit any
missing seals.
3.
Carefully place the valve on the valve installation surface. Also refer to
"Data sheet 25880, unit dimensions, port P". Observe the porting pattern.
4.
Mount the connection line at the valve. See also "Data sheet 25880, unit
dimensions, port P1". Observe the porting pattern. Ensure that the flange seal is
correctly put onto the flange and intact.
5.
Ensure that the valve mounting screws are tightened using the specified
tightening torque. Tighten them crosswise using a suitable manual torque wrench.
For the tightening torques, please refer to the tables below.
6.
Please note that the tightening torques may change if other screw types are used.
