Maintenance Schedule
EVERY MONTH
Manually operate door. If it is unbalanced or binding, call a trained door systems
l
technician.
Check to be sure door opens and closes fully. Adjust if necessary, see page 30.
l
Test the safety reversal system. Adjust if necessary, see page 31.
l
EVERY YEAR
Oil door rollers, bearings and hinges. The garage door opener does not require
l
additional lubrication. Do not grease the door tracks.
Test the battery and consider replacing the battery to ensure the garage door
l
opener will operate during an electrical power outage, see page 32 to test the
battery backup.
EVERY TWO TO THREE YEARS
Use a rag to wipe away the existing grease from the garage door opener rail.
l
Reapply a small layer of white lithium grease to the top and underside of the rail
surface where the trolley slides.

may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular
installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the
equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures:
Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.

Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
l
Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected.
l
Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.

The Remote Control Battery
To prevent possible SERIOUS INJURY or DEATH:
NEVER allow small children near batteries.

If battery is swallowed, immediately notify doctor.
l
To reduce risk of fire, explosion or chemical burn:
Replace ONLY with 3V CR2032 coin batteries.
l
DO NOT recharge, disassemble, heat above 212°F (100°C) or incinerate.
l
To replace the battery, pry open the
case in the middle, then at each side
with the visor clip. Insert
replacement battery positive side up
(+). Replace the batteries with only
3V CR2032 coin cell batteries.
Dispose of old batteries properly.
