Section 4 - Configuration
The MAC (Media Access Controller) Address Filter option is used to control network access based on the MAC address of the network adapter.
A MAC address is a unique ID assigned by the manufacturer of the network adapter. This feature can be configured to ALLOW or DENY network/
Internet access.
Tick this box to enable MAC Filtering.
MAC Address
Control:
Check the box to allow wireless and wired clients with C selected
Connection
to connect to this device. You can also select to allow or deny
Control:
connections from unspecified MAC addresses.
Check the box to allow wireless clients with A selected can
Association
associate to the wireless LAN. You can also select to allow or deny
Control:
connections from unspecified MAC addresses.
MAC FILTERING RULES
This identifies the rule.
ID:
Specify the MAC address of the computer to be filtered.
MAC Address:
Specify the last section of the IP address.
IP Address:
If this box is ticked, the rule will follow the connection control
C:
setting specified in MAC filtering settings specified above.
If this box is ticked, the rule will follow the association control
A:
setting specified in MAC filtering settings specified above.
Click Apply to save your settings, or Refresh to revert to your
previous settings.
