4. Secure the wheel hub to the shaft with the
locknut (Figure 84

Note:
The brake shoes and backing plate must
concentrically align with the brake drum. If the
shoes, plate, and drum are misaligned, refer to
the Service Manual for your machine.
5. Repeat steps 1 through
the machine.
Installing the Wheel
1. Assemble the wheel to the hub with the 4 lug
nuts (Figure 86), and tighten the lug nuts by
hand.

2. Repeat step 1 at the other side of the machine.
3. Remove the jack stands and lower the machine.
4. Torque wheel lug nuts to 95 to 122∙Nm (70 to 90
ft-lb) in a crossing pattern.
