Removing 2x BaseUnit
WARNING
Hazardous Voltage
Hazardous electrical voltage can cause electric shock, burns and property damage.
Disconnect your system and devices from the power supply before starting any assembly tasks.
Note
You can recognize a 2x BaseUnit by the metal clip on the underside of the 2x BaseUnit.
The 2x BaseUnit is wired. There are additional BaseUnits to the left and right.
To remove a specific 2x BaseUnit, move the neighboring modules. As soon as you have created a clearance of about 8 mm
from the neighboring BaseUnits, you can remove the 2x BaseUnit.
Note
You cannot replace the terminal box of the 2x BaseUnit. Replace the entire 2x BaseUnit.
To remove a 2x BaseUnit, follow these steps:
1. Switch off a supply voltage on the 2x BaseUnit.
2. Loosen the wiring on the 2x BaseUnit (with a 3 to 3.5 mm screwdriver).
3. Removing (from the right):
Press one of the two mounting rail releases at the corresponding 2x BaseUnit.
Move the 2x BaseUnit parallel at least 5 mm to the right and swivel the 2x BaseUnit off of the mounting rail while
pressing the mounting rail release button.
Removing (from the left):
On the right BaseUnit, press on the mounting rail release of the corresponding 2x BaseUnit. Move the 2x BaseUnit
parallel to the left and swivel it out of the mounting rail while pressing the mounting rail release button.
Note
The two mounting rail release buttons are located above the 2x BaseUnit. The two mounting rail release buttons are
mechanically coupled internally.
