BEFORE ACTIVATING YOUR DEVICE OR ANY SERVICE PLANS.
1. Go to StraightTalk.com or call 1-888-428-7223 and follow the steps to
complete your Service Activation. You will need to provide the following:
• Your device's IMEI (Serial Number)
• A Straight Talk Data Service Plan PIN, or a credit or debit card to purchase
one during Activation.
2. Once the Activation is complete, turn your Hotspot OFF and back ON. Your
Hotspot will begin the Activation process.
• If the Activation is successful, you will receive a confi rmation message.
• If you do not receive a confi rmation message, wait a few minutes and turn
your Hotspot OFF and back ON to restart the Activation process.
3. Connect your computer or other device to your Hotspot using Wi-Fi®.
• Your Hotspot Network Name can be found on the Device Info menu on
your Hotspot. It begins with TF_ and is followed by six characters.
• Select your Hotspot Network Name once it appears on a list of available
devices on your computer or other device.
4. Once you connect to the internet using your Hotspot, it is recommended that
you change its Security Settings, as by default your Hotspot allows others to
connect to your network. To manage your device's Security Settings, follow
the instructions on the back of this panel.
