Troubleshooting Using Error Codes
Refer to the table below and on the next page for information on the
error codes that are generated from the indoor and outdoor units.
These codes are the most common that will manifest through these
units. The system installed might generate additional codes not
listed here. Contact an LG trained service provider if these types of
errors are seen., and a simple power down and boot up has not cor-
rected the issue. The end user should not attempt to fix the system.

Error Codes

• Error codes indicate different types of unit failures, assists in self-
diagnosis and to track the frequency of occurrence.
• Error codes are shown on the LEDs of indoor units, wired remote
controller, the outdoor unit control board, and LG Monitoring View
(LGMV) Diagnostic Software.
• If two or more errors occur simultaneously, the lower error code
number is displayed first.
• After error is resolved, the error code does not display.
