3 System Connections
Using the optional base plate secured with clamps (one of the following):
Clamps for 50 mm (2.0 in.) pipes (M10 bolts/nuts, 2 sets)
Clamps for 50 mm/60 mm (2.0 in./2.4 in.) pipes (M12 bolts/nuts, 2 sets)
Using the optional base plate secured with bolts:
M10 or M12 bolts/nuts (2 sets)
 Safety (anti-drop) equipment (commercially available)
Eye bolt (M16 bolts, only when using the optional base plate)
Safety wire
Tools and Materials Required for Installation
 Torque hex head wrenches: 2.5 mm (for M3 bolts), 4 mm (for M5 bolts), 6 mm (for M8 bolts)
 Precision cross screwdriver #0
 Cable ties and cutter/nipper
 Fixing tools for any clamps/eye bolts used
 To secure the base plate using bolts: fixing tools for the bolts used
 Overview of the Installation Process
1.
Open the package, unpack all the supplied parts and place the camera head on a stable work surface.
2.
Remove the camera mounting bracket, IP controller and cable clamp from the camera head.
3.
Prepare the camera unit and set up the main capture camera and lens.
 "Camera unit" refers collectively to the main capture camera with a lens and camera mounting bracket attached.
4.
If using a rain cover, attach the front ring.
5.
Attach the zoom unit to the camera head but tighten it only partially.
6.
Mount the camera unit on the camera head.
7.
Attach the gear ring to the lens and then fasten the zoom unit firmly.
8.
Attach the IP controller to the camera head.
9.
Attach the wide view camera and eyepiece camera to the camera head if necessary.
10. Connect all the necessary cables.
11. Turn on the system and check it is working correctly.
12. Attach the rain cover, if using one.
13. Attach the base plate.
14. Install the robotic camera system at the shooting location.
15. Check that the system is working correctly after the installation.
When transporting the camera head, always use two people to lift it, firmly grabbing the handles.
During the installation, use a table or other stable work surface and be careful not to drop any equipment.
Use the correct torque (A 49) when fastening bolts.
