D igital call station ETCS - Operation

1 B
ETCS offers a 7" / 17,78 cm touch screen for display and operation which provides a user-friendly interface. The
LED are used for status indications which include microphone fault, system fault and connection states of two
redundant cables. A red button with cover can be configured for emergency announcement. The gooseneck
microphone is replaceable and monitored by ETCS. The loudspeaker can be used for pre-listening audio files
locally and intercom between the call stations.
The ETCS is designed for a redundant cable connection to an Ethernet network and possesses an external audio
input and output for the connection of audio devices such as CD players etc. Up to three DKM plus digital key
modules can be connected.
The ETCS broadcasts audio files to various network users via Ethernet connections. Recorded audio files can be
transmitted to selected zones or network devices by means of the touch screen. This allows time-critical messages
to be delivered to selected message groups.
