Protocol 11 uses colours to show they type of VA announcement being played in a zone.
Red: An evacuation announcement is being played.
Orange: A warning announcement is being played.
Grey: No VA announcement is being played.
When two different calls are being played in one area, the area displays the higher of the two statuses.
If an area is configured for several areas, its area status is set according to the following priorities: Live >
Evac > Alarm.
Example: Area 1 is configured with areas 2 and 3. If area 1 has the same priority as the live call from area
2, and area 2 the same priority as Evac call from area 3, then the area 1 status will be green.
Protocol 10 shows a small red loudspeaker symbol in the top right-hand corner when an announcement
is being played.
The VA area status relates to the VA announcement priority. If, for example, a manual
announcement, such as a USB announcement, is activated in area 1 and has the same priority
as a live call, area 1 shows as green even if it is not activated in the interface.
