If you are in an area of wireless coverage that is sufficient for
receiving email messages, the registration message should arrive
within a few seconds.
Note: Your handheld must be activated on the Nextel wireless network
before you can register and before you can send messages or place
phone calls or Nextel Direct Connect calls. If you are in an area of
sufficient wireless coverage and on the Network screen the Active
Network field is blank, contact Nextel Customer Care to verify that your
handheld has been activated properly.
Your handheld selects a network automatically. Refer to "Customizing
your handheld options" in the online Handheld User Guide for more
information.
You might need to register your handheld after you load new
applications with the desktop software's Application Loader tool. Refer
to the Application Loader Online Help for more information on loading
applications
Integrating with an enterprise email
account
If you have integrated your handheld with an enterprise email
account that uses the BlackBerry Enterprise Server or the BlackBerry
Desktop Redirector, complete these steps to continue configuring
your handheld.
