Getting started
To register with the Nextel wireless
network manually
1. On the Home screen, click the Options icon. The Options screen
appears.
2. Click Network. The Network screen appears.
3. Verify that the Radio field is set to On and that the Active
Network field is set to an active network.
Note: On the Network screen, the Scan Mode field is set to Automatic.
The handheld scans for available networks and selects the network with
the best available wireless coverage automatically.
4. Click the trackwheel to view the menu. Click Register Now. A
message confirms that the registration message was sent.
