Password

The key lock function is protected by a 4-
digit password. The default password is
1234
and
can
password entry, a hyphen ("-") will be
displayed for each of the digits entered.
You can use the ARROW key

Changing the password

Press the MENU key
Use the DIAL/SELECT key to select
the LOCK OPTIONS option
Use the ARROW keys to select the Y
option

the CHANGE PASSWORD option
Use the ARROW keys to select the Y
option
Press the DIAL/SELECT key
: Enter the new password (4 digits)
Press the DIAL/SELECT key
: Repeat the new password (4 digits)

If the entered password does not match the
programmed
password,
"PASSWORD ERROR" will appear on the
display. If the password was repeated
incorrectly, you will be prompted to enter
the new password again.

Key Lock

This telephone features a key lock for
mobile phone calls (LOCK CELL), long-
distance calls (LOCK LD) and international
calls (LOCK INTER). When the lock for
long-distance calls is enabled, users cannot
make calls to numbers that begin with 0.

enabled, users cannot make calls to
numbers that begin with 00. When the lock
for mobile phones is enabled, users cannot
make calls to numbers that begin with 8 or
9.
Note:
The lock for mobile phone calls may not
work properly in some countries due to the
numbering plan for mobile phones used in
these countries.

Locking or unlocking the telephone

Press the MENU key
Use the DIAL/SELECT key to select
the LOCK OPTIONS option
Use the ARROW keys to select the Y
option
Press the DIAL/SELECT key
: Enter the password (4 digits)
Use the DIAL/SELECT key to select
the desired option

for the desired lock option
