Reset/Diagnostics
Whenever one of the following faults occurs, the appliance enters the fault mode and all the control panel LEDs flash
simultaneously.
Reset: to reset the appliance, switch the product off then on again using button
(A Fig. 3). If the cause of the fault
disappears during the reset phase, the appliance will resume operating regularly. If not, the all the LEDs will start
flashing again and the technical assistance service must be contacted.
Diagnostics: to activate the diagnostics function, press and hold button
(A Fig. 3) for 5 seconds.
The type of fault is indicated by the 5 LEDs (Ref. 1 5 Fig. 3), based to the following scheme:
LED Ref. 1 – PCB internal fault;
LED Ref. 2 – Anode fault (on models equipped with active anode);
LED Ref. 3 – NTC 1/NTC 2 temperature probes faulty (i.e. either open or in short circuit);
LED Ref. 5 – Water overtemperature detected by the single sensor;
LED Ref. 4 and 5 – General overtemperature (PCB fault);
LED Ref. 3 and 5 – probe differential error;
LED Ref. 3, 4 and 5 – Operation without water.
To exit the diagnostics mode, press button
(A Fig. 3) or wait 25 seconds.
When instead one of the two heating elements fails, LED
(B Fig. 3) starts flashing.
The product will nonetheless continue to function with the other heating element. The LED will only turn off once the
damaged heating element is replaced.
Anti-Legionnaire's disease function
The anti-Legionnaire's disease function (disabled by default) consists in a 70°C water heating cycle that performs a
thermal disinfection action against the relative bacteria.
The first cycle starts 3 days after the product is switched on. The successive cycles are effected every 30 days (provided
that the water has not been heated to 70°C at least once during the period). When the product is turned off, the anti-
Legionnaire's disease function is deactivated. If the appliance is switched off during the anti-Legionnaire's disease
cycle, the product switches off and the function is deactivated. At the end of each cycle, the operating temperature
returns to the value previously set by the user.
The activation of the anti-Legionnaire's disease function is displayed as a normal 70°C temperature setting mode.
To permanently deactivate the anti-Legionnaire's disease function, simultaneously press and hold the "ECO" and "+"
buttons for 4 seconds; the 40°C LED will flash rapidly for 4 seconds to confirm deactivation.
To reactivate the anti-Legionnaire's disease function, repeat the above-mentioned operation; the 70°C LED will flash
rapidly for 4 seconds to confirm reactivation.
Temperature adjustment and reactivation of the appliance's functions
Press button
(A Fig. 3) to switch the appliance on. Set the desired temperature by selecting a level ranging from
40°C to 80°C, using the "+" e "-" buttons. During the heating phase, the LEDs (Ref. 1 5 Fig. 3) relative to the temperature
reached by the water will be stably lit; the successive LEDs, up to the set temperature, will flash progressively.
If the temperature drops, for example following withdrawal of water, heating reactivates automatically and the LEDs
between the last stably lit light and the light corresponding to the set temperature will start flashing progressively.
The first time the appliance is turned on, the temperature goes to 70°C.
In case of power shortages, or if the product is switched off using button
(A Fig. 3), the last set temperature is
memorised.
During the heating phase, slight noise may occur due to the heating of the water.
The pilot light remains lit during the heating phase.

ECO function

The "ECO" function consists in a self-learning software applied to user consumption that allows for minimising heat
dispersal and maximising energy saving.
The functioning of the "ECO" software consists in an initial one-week learning period, during which the product starts
functioning at the temperature set by the user, by adapting it every day to its energy requirements for improving energy
saving. After this learning week, the "ECO" software activates water heating in the time and in the quantity determined
automatically by the product itself, based on the user's consumption. During periods of the day in which no withdrawals
are planned, the product nonetheless guarantees a reserve supply of hot water.
To activate the "ECO" function, press the relative button, which turns on green.
With the "ECO" function active, manual temperature selection is deactivated. For increasing or decreasing the
temperature, the "ECO" function must be deactivated by pressing the same button, which then turns off. If the "ECO"
function or the product are switched off then on again, the function restarts with the consumption learning period.
In order to ensure correct operation of the "ECO" function, the product should not be disconnected from the mains
electricity.
