To reduce the risk of explosions, electric shock, and
damage to property and equipment, never cut live
electrical cables. The product is not insulated.
Keep hands and loose items of clothing away from
cutting tools and other moving parts. There is a risk of
serious injury, including severing of limbs.
Before the cutting process begins, access must be
sealed off in accordance with local regulations.
Cut only cables that have been disconnected from the
power supply. Failure to comply with this instruction
can lead to serious injury, death, fire, and other
damage to property as a result of electric shock,
explosion and/or electric arcs.
Cable and cord may not be exposed to any mechanical
forces.
To reduce the risk of injury, wear safety goggles or
glasses with side shields.
Never hold the cable cutter by the cutting jaws.
Before using, always check the cutting jaws for cracks
and other signs of wear.
The cable cutter may be used only with a cutting tool
inserted.
KNOCKOUT TOOL SAFETY WARNINGS
Check the cutting tool for cracks or any other signs of
wear before using. Use only cutting tools and cutting
devices if they are in perfect technical condition.
Operate the product only with the cutting tool inserted
into it.
Do not use the product in or near live electrical panels.
Work only on de-energized electrical panels.
Check whether the nominal width of the die
corresponds to the nominal width of the punch.
Use the product only with knockout dies and punches
rated for the peak output force of this product. Any
other use may cause injuries or damage to the product.
Keep the cutting tools sharp and clean. Properly
maintained cutting tools with sharp cutting edges are
less likely to get jammed and are easier to control.
SPECIFIED CONDITIONS OF USE
ACCESSORIES AND TOOL HEADS
The product is intended only for single-acting
accessories and tool heads, nominal pressure 700
bar; maximum oil displacement 1.35 L.
CRIMPING TOOL
The crimping tool is exclusively designed for crimping
connectors and compound materials with dedicated
crimping dies.
All live parts, i.e., parts conducting electricity, must be
disconnected in the technician's work environment
before starting work.
CABLE CUTTER
The cable cutter is suitable for cutting tension-
free, non-reinforced cables of insulated copper or
aluminum, cutting tools depending on cable type.
KNOCKOUT TOOL
The knockout tool may be used only for punching in
materials with the provided stamps and matrices.

OPERATION

REPLACING THE COUPLER
WARNING!
Follow
manufacturers' installation instructions. Other
uses
may
cause
damage
accessories, and workpiece.
Removing the coupler
1. Remove the battery pack.
2. Push and hold down the manual pressure release
button for 5 seconds.
3. Place a wrench on the coupler swivel.
4. Place a second wrench on the coupler, and loosen
the coupler.
5. Remove the coupler, and clean out any remaining
thread seal tape in the coupler area.
WARNING! Only use couplers that are rated
10,000 psi (700 bar) or higher.
Installing the coupler:
1. Remove the battery pack.
2. If the new coupler does not have a thread seal
tape, place two wraps of tape on the threads of
the coupler.
NOTE: Use only a thread seal tape.
3. Place a wrench on the coupler swivel.
4. Place the coupler onto the coupler swivel, and
using a second wrench, tighten the coupler into
place.
NOTE:
The coupler should be torqued to 6-8 kg/m.
The coupler must match the swivel thread, 3/8 inch
NPTF.
PRIMING THE HYDRAULIC SYSTEM
The product should be primed any time that it has run
dry of oil.
1. Remove the battery pack.
2. Inspect the oil sight line, and ensure that the
product has enough oil.
3. Connect the coupler to an accessory head that will
siphon out the air and excess oil.
NOTE: The coupler must be pointed straight up,
and the product must be positioned lower than the
accessory head.
4. Insert the battery pack.
5. Press the hold pressure button.
6. Run the product.
