1. Double-click on the Showscsi icon, and the Adaptec SCSI
Interrogator window will appear.

crossed-out No Device icon indicates that no device is installed at

2. Double-click on any icon in the SCSI Interrogator window to view
information about a SCSI device.
Different kinds of information screens will appear in the Inquiry
window, depending on the type of SCSI device.

SCSI Host Adapter: A single information screen lists the model
number of the adapter, the ASPI manager drivers it uses, and the
SCSI programming interface it uses.

Disk Devices: The first screen lists vendor and model number
information, device type, storage capacity and bytes per sector.
If the disk is a SCSI-2 device the screen lists available SCSI
features, such as synchronous mode and SCSI linking.
If the disk device uses removable media, such as a CD-ROM,
you can click on the Eject Media button to eject the CD. Lock
Media and Unlock Media buttons allow you to lock removable
media in devices that support this command and unlock it when
you want to remove it. These three buttons are grayed-out if the
SCSI device you are viewing does not support the commands.
You can click on the Read Defect List button to view information
about disk defects.
