    HAFFMANS  ICD   INTRODUCTION   Intended use The Inpack 2000 CO Meter* is intended exclusively to measure gas equilibrium pressure and liquid temperature in filled bottles or cans for determination of the CO content. The ICM-2000 can be used in combination with the Inpack Air Meter**. The Air Meter is intended exclusively for the measuring of the air content in filled bottles or cans in combination with the ICM-2000.

    HAFFMANS  ICD   GENERAL PRODUCT INFORMATION   General description The ICM-2000 is an instrument for measuring the gas equilibrium pressure and liquid temperature in filled bottles or cans. After measuring the temperature the CO content (based on the two measured values) can be determined with the Haffmans CO scale, The ICM-2000 can be used in laboratories or other locations where measurement of the CO content in filled bottles or cans is desired.

If the delivery is incomplete or damaged, please contact Haffmans BV or the representative/agent designated by Haffmans B.V, immediately (appendix III).

    HAFFMANS  ICD   OPERATING THE CO METER   This paragraph described the operation of the ICM-2000. Many actions may be carried out depending on the desired measurement results. See the diagram in appendix VII. Operation of the ICM-2000 has the following steps: 1.

    HAFFMANS  ICD   OPERATING THE AIR METER   Always wear protective gloves and goggles. Lye may cause serious damage if it comes into contact with your skin or eyes. Remove lye immediately using a large quantity of flowing water. Contact a doctor immediately. Warning Used lye should be disposed of according to the national legal environmental and health regulations.

    HAFFMANS  ICD   There will now still be air in the hose between the IAM and the ICM-2000:   This can be removed in three ways: • Open the ICM-2000’s needle valve slowly until a drop of lye comes out of the needle. This will happen more quickly if the IAM is placed slightly higher than ICM-2000.

    HAFFMANS  ICD   CALIBRATION   This chapter provides information on calibration for the ICM-2000. Check the manometer every month. Compare the ICM-2000's manometer with a precision manometer with an accuracy of +/- 0.03 bar. Attention! The Haffmans Gauge Calibration Device (GCD) is recommended for proper calibration.
