Replacing the brake pads
Replace the brake pads in the following circumstances.
• When oil adheres to the brake pads
• When the brake pads are worn down to a thickness of 0.5 mm
• When the brake pad presser spring is interfering with the disc brake rotor
1.
Remove the wheel from the frame.
2.
Remove the brake pads.
(1) Close the tip of the split pin.
(2) Remove the split pin.
(3) Remove the brake pads from the caliper.
3.
Clean the pistons and the surrounding area.
