WARNING!
Risk of injury
The user can fall out of bed, get hit by the lifting
pole, get trapped or suffocated.
– Always extend the mattress support when
extending bed ends.
– There must be a distance of more than 2,5 cm,
between the bed end and outside of mattress
retainer, to avoid entrapment of fingers.
– Always make sure to tighten the screws for the
mattress support extension.
WARNING!
Risk of entrapment.
– Be careful while adjusting the mattress support.
1.
Remove the bed end plate in the foot end and loosen
the screws on both sides.
2.
Pull the bed end fitting from the frame. This can be
done in two steps of respectively 15 and 20 cm.

Release the centrally located spring and pull out the
mattress support extension.
4.
Tighten both screws again and place the extended
mattress on the bed.

5.10 Lifting pole

WARNING!
Risk of injury
The bed can tip if the handle is used, while the
lifting pole is turned away from the bed.
– The lifting pole always has to be positioned
with the handle hanging over the bed area.
– Do not exceed the maximum load of the lifting
pole; 80 kg.

5.10.1 Positioning the lifting pole

1.
Lift the lifting pole until the control latch A is released
from the lifting pole tube.
2. Turn the lifting pole to the desired position.
3. Lower the lifting pole and fixate it.
