( ) Connect one
end
of a 1-3/4" white wire to
MS4-F9 (8-1).
( ) Remove 1/2" of insulation from one end of
a 2"
white wire.
Pass
this end of the wire
through MB4-F10
(B-2)
to M84-F11 (8-1).
( ) Pass
a
1" bare wire through M83-F9 (8-1)
through M83-F10
(8-2)
to MB3-F11
(NS).
Twist the switch lugs as shown.
( ) Connect one end of a 2" white wire to
MB4-F12 (8-1). Bend the lug as shown.
( ) Connect a 1-1/2't yellow wire from MS1-F9
(S-1) to MS1-R12 (8-1).
( ) Connect one end of a 5-1/2" yellow wire
to MBI-R1l (8-1).
( ) Place
a
3-3/4" bare wire through MS1-F4
(B-2),
MS2-R4
(B-2),
to MS3-F6 (S-1).
( ) Locate
the 4-section,
4-position
switch
(#63-342) and position it as shown in Detail
4-5C.
NOTE: The following steps concern prewiring the
Mode switch. To make lug identification easier, a
system of letters and numbers will be used. For
example; MSI-F2
means:
Mode switch (MS),
1
(first wafer),
F
(front of wafer), 2 (lug 2).
Wafer #1 is the one closest to the knob end of
the switch. R means the rear of a wafer. This
system will be used in the remainder
of the
Manual,
.and
will also apply to the Band switch
(BS)
and Function switch
(FB).
