( ) Cut one lead of a 200 pf mica capacitor to
1/4". Connect this lead to solder lug

The other lead will be connected later.
( ) Connect one end of a 3-1 /2" red stranded
wire to lug 3 of variable capacitor TC (8-1).
The other
end will be connected later.
( ) Connect a .005 /lfd 500 V disc capacitor
between lugs 6 (NS) and 11 (NS) of tube
socket V11. Position this capacitor as close
as possible to tube socket Vl1 to prevent it
from interfering
with a shield that is in-
stalled later.
( ) Connect a 10

sistor between lugs 4 (NS) and 10 (8-3) of
tube socket VII.
( ) Connect one end of a 2-1/2" red stranded
wire to the stranded wire connected be-
tween lugs I and 2 of variable capacitor
TC (8-1). The other end will be connected
later.
( ) Connect a .005 /.lfd 500 V disc capacitor
between lugs 4 (NS) and 10 (NS) of tube
socket V11.
( ) Remove I" of insulation from one end and
1/4" of insulation from the other end of a 2"
red stranded wire. Connect the end with the
most insulation removed around lug 2 (8-2)
to lug 1 (S-I) of variable capacitor TC. The
other end will be connected later.
( ) Connect a .005 /lfd 500 V disc capacitor
between lugs 3 (NS)and 10 (NS)of tube sock-
et Vll.
( ) Connect one end of a 1-1 /2" white wire to
lug

of terminal

end of this wire will be connected later.
