( ) Remove the protective backing from the
nameplate "SB-401", and press it firmly in
place
in
the indentation of the
dial
es-
cutcheon.
( ) Install a 1-1/8" plastic knob on the small
inner shaft
of
the Level control. Use
a
1/4"
split shaft bushing and an 8-32
x 1/4"
setscrew. Position the pointer at the fully
counterclockwise marking on the front panel.
( ) Refer to Detail 5-8A, and install
1-1/8"
plastic knobs on the remaining shafts. Use
8-32 x 1/4" setscrews.
Position the painters
at the fully counterclockwise marking on the
front panel.
( ) Install a plastic lever knob on the outer
shaft of the Level control. Position the lever
toward the. unlocked position. Tighten the
setscrew.

shaft at the Final position, using a 1/4" split
shaft bushing and an 8-32

( ) Install a plastic lever knob on the tubular
shaft at the Final position. Position the lever
