( ) Remove the circular dial from the
LMO
shaft, replace it in its envelope, and re-
turn it to the #100-450 box.

NUT®
( ) Slide the circular
dial (from parts box
#100-450) onto the shaft of the
LMO.
Place a ruler or other straight edge along
the front of the chassis. Adjust the LMO so
the'
circular dial is parallel to the front edge
of the
chassts,
Tighten the nuts that secure
the
LMO
to the chassis.

Detail 3-3L
( ) Refer to Detail 3-3M, and temporarily
Install
the
LMO
(#110-40) with a 3-lug ter-
minal strip at Don the bottom of the chassis.
Use #6 flat washers, #6 'lockwashers and
6-32 nuts. Position the lugs of the
LMO
in
the center of the slotted holes. Tighten
'the nuts just enough to hold the
LMO in
place on the chassis.

( ,) Refer to Detail 3-3M, and remove the screw
marked TX from the side of the
LMO. Set
this screw aside. It will be 'used later.
Do
not loosen the sealed screws.

( ) Refer to Detail 3-3L, and mOW1tthe final
amplifier enclosure with a 4-lug terminal
strip at L, a 2 -Iug terminal strip at K, and
a 3-lug terminal strip at P, all onthe bottom
of the chassis. Use #610ckwashers and 6-32
nuts. Push the outside rear corner of the
,
enclosure outward as far as possible,
be-
fore tightening the nuts.
( ) Carefully unpack the
LMO
unit (#110-40)
from its box.
