Switching on via the control station

With the default parameters entered, the operating mode "Non-maintained
command mode" is disabled in the menu "Parameters > Motor control > Control
function > Operating mode".
Figure 2-9
In this context, the SIMOCODE device stores the "ON>" or "ON<" command in
accordance with the self-maintaining behavior of contactors, without the user
needing to interconnect corresponding logic blocks. An "ON" command is thus
triggered at the corresponding control station by an impulse (on site, for example
by a pushbutton).
Switching on in the conveying direction "ON>"
Signal conditioning 1 takes note of the enabled control command "ON>" provided
by the Control station function block. Although the ON commands maintain
themselves with the default parameterization "Non-maintained command mode",
the "ON>" command must also be stored with Signal conditioning 1 so that the fault
logic can switch on the drive in forward flow direction again after an automatic
reversal.
The "ON>" command is passed to the function block "Protection/Control" via input
1 of truth table TT2 as long as input 2 is "false", which corresponds to regular,
disturbance-free operation.
Switching on in the reverse direction "ON<"
While running in the reverse direction can be initiated with the active control
station, this is not intended in the regular process sequence.
The "ON<" command supplied by the "Control station" function block is passed to
the "Protection/Control" function block via input 2 of truth table TT7. Due to the
default parameterization "Non-maintained command mode", the control command
is stored.
