12 SERVICE

This product contains no user serviceable parts, other than
the projection lamp and the fuse. Attempts to modify other
mechanics or electronics inside the housing will violate any
warranties, and may be hazardous.
If for any reason the product fails to work properly, first check the previous
chapter on hints and tips. If things still do not work, please contact your
dealer for technical support. Prepare a list of the symptoms you observe to
make the diagnosing easier for your dealer. Remember to include all
cables when returning the goods.
If a problem cannot be solved by the dealer, please see the Service
Information section.
12.1

LAMP REPLACEMENT

The projector is using a 575W metal halide lamp for illumination.
Recommended lamp type is Osram HMI 575 W/GS Dual Ended, which
may be ordered from your local dealer or an Osram supplier. This lamp is
HIGH PRESSURE when operating. Refer lamp change to qualified
personnel only.
The normal operating life for the lamp is 750 hours.
High-pressure lamp may explode if improperly used. Refer all
servicing to authorized personnel only.

LAMP REPLACEMENT MESSAGES

When the time is due to replace the lamp, the projector will give you one of
the two following messages on the screen.
Lamp has less than 50 hours left of recommended burning time
Press any key to clear this message...
WARNING!
Please change lamp!
