Cleaning
Vacuum excess wood chips and sawdust, and
wipe off the remaining dust with a dry cloth. If any
resin has built up, use a resin dissolving cleaner
to remove it.
Unpainted Cast Iron
Protect the unpainted cast iron surfaces on the
table by wiping the table clean after every use—
this will ensure that moisture from wood dust will
not remain on bare metal surfaces.
To avoid rust, do not use water or water-based
products on the unpainted cast iron surfaces.
Keep tables rust-free with regular applications of
products like G96
Gun Treatment, SLIPIT
®
Boeshield
T-9.

V-Belt
Avoid getting grease or oil on the V-belt or pulleys.
Check the V-belt, as part of a monthly inspection
for proper tension and belt condition. Cracking
and glazing could result in belt failure. Replace
the belt if such conditions appear.
