Diagnosing Problems

By observing system diagnostics, you can identify
and correct problems that might occur at system
power up.

Power Failures

If the system does not respond during power up,
see the troubleshooting suggestions in

Abnormal LED Activity

The system processor contains several status LEDs
that indicate system problems. Also, each module
has status LEDs that alert you to problems with a
module or port. See
troubleshooting suggestions in the event of
abnormal LED activity on the system processor or a
module.
CAUTION: When handling a module, always use a
wrist strap that is connected to a proper ground.
This precaution prevents the module from being
damaged by electrostatic discharge.
