You can configure two basic PoE settings in the
Switch Configuration section:

If you make any changes to the settings in
click Apply to save your changes.

Configuring PoE for Individual Ports

You can also configure the PoE settings for each indi-
vidual port using the PoE Setting screen.
Configuring PoE
Description
Enables and disables Power over Ether-
net on all ports. There are two available
options for this setting:
Enable – Select to enable the Switch
■
to supply PoE on all ports
Disable – Select to disable PoE on all
■
ports
To enable or disable power for individual
ports, you need access the PoE Setting
screen. For more information, refer to
"Configuring PoE for Individual Ports"
on page 41.
If the power budget is exceeded, this
setting determines which devices will
continue to be powered. You can select:
Last Link Up (default) – Ensures that
■
the devices have power priority in the
order in which they were connected
to the switch.
Select Port Priority – Follows the port
■
priority settings to allow devices con-
figured as having low priority to be
disconnected first.
