In any Switch 4007 document, the terms Layer 3 modules, Layer 3
switching modules, or Multilayer Switching Modules refer to the same
group of modules:
12-port 10/100BASE-TX Fast Ethernet Multilayer Switching Module
(Model Number 3CB9RF12R)
4-Port Gigabit Ethernet (GBIC) Multilayer Switching Module
(Model Number 3CB9RG4)
10-port 100BASE-FX Fast Ethernet Multilayer Switching Module
(Model Number 3CB9RF10MC)
In the Ethernet chapter of the Switch 4007 Implementation Guide:
The "Port Monitoring" section states that, with the
option set to
monitoring
Ethernet error counters against user-defined thresholds. This is incorrect.
The system compares the error counters against its own predetermined
threshold. You cannot modify the threshold.
The following information should be added to the IPX chapter of the
Switch 4007 Command Reference Guide:
Instead of displaying the entire current IPX route and server databases
(which may contain thousands of entries), the
ipx server display
you can search only for those route addresses and service names that
interest you.
In the following example, only the service names that match the regular
