Note 5: You must make these IGMP changes regardless of whether you
use IP multicast routing on your module. If you cannot change these
IGMP settings and IP multicast traffic is present, remove the source of the
multicast traffic, change the settings, and then restore the source of the
multicast traffic. This correction is a one-time-only change.
Note 6: After you upgrade to Release 3.0.0, reset your module, and
implement the IGMP changes noted in Table 6, view the DVMRP
parameters immediately. The default settings for DVMRP mode, DVMRP
metric, and DVMRP tunnels were applied to all IP interfaces at Release
2.x, however they are applied per specified IP interface for Release 3.0.0
and higher. Thus, you may need to make changes in your configuration.
After Release 3.0.0 is in effect, you can apply DVMRP parameters only to
the IP interfaces that need them.
Note 7: After you upgrade from Release 2.x to Release 3.0.5, all of the
backplane links on a trunk may not be enabled after the upgrade. This
problem affects all switch fabric modules. After you upgrade to Release
3.0, log into the switch fabric module and reexamine the backplane port
status using the

ports that were enabled under Release 2.x are still enabled. If any ports
that should be enabled are erroneously disabled, use the
command to reenable the port.

Note 8: If Fast Ethernet or Gigabit Ethernet trunks are configured in
Release 2.x, the requested flow control value in the displays may appear
incorrectly after you upgrade to Release 3.0.0. This has no impact on
traffic flow through the device.
