Name Option fault
Appears when a node address is set out of the setting range (other than 1 to 64). Also appears when the node
Description address is set improperly.
Appears when Pr.296 Password lock level ="0 or 100."
Check if the node address is set within the range of 1 to 64.
Check point
Check if the node address switch is set between numbers.
Check if "0 or 100" is set in Pr. 296.
Set the node address within the range of 1 to 64. (Refer to page 46).
Set the node address switch to the switch number position correctly. (Refer to page 46).
Corrective action
Set Pr.296 ≠ "0 or 100" for the password lock.
If the problem still persists after taking the above measure, please contact your sales representative.

Option fault
Inverter output is stopped if there is excess electrical noise around the inverter or in other conditions.
Description
Appears when the setting of the master is incorrect.
Check for excess electrical noises around the inverter.
Check point
Check if a protocol other than FL remote protocol is selected. Also check if the number of words in the
transmission/receive area is set to "0."
Take measures against noises if there are devices producing excess electrical noises around the inverter.
Select FL remote protocol. Set an appropriate number of words for the transmission/receive area. (Refer to page 54
Corrective action
for the setting for the transmission/receive area.)
If the problem still persists after taking the above measure, please contact your sales representative.

Name Parameter storage device fault (control circuit board)
Description Stops the inverter output if fault occurred in the parameter stored. (EEPROM fault)

Check for too many number of parameter write times.

When a combination of control board and main circuit board is wrong, the inverter is tripped.

Retry count excess
If operation cannot be resumed properly within the number of retries set, this function trips the inverter.
Description The indication is available only when Pr. 67 Number of retries at fault occurrence is set.
When the initial value (Pr. 67 = "0") is set, this protective function is not available.
Check point
Find the cause of fault occurrence.
Corrective action
Eliminate the cause of the error preceding this error indication.
