3-1-2. Print Operation

In the case that the printing is not continued, paper is stored in the standby position after the print opera-
tion is completed. Also, paper is stored in the standby position during head cooling.
Plunger ON
DC fan ON
When the head temperature
is 63dC or more
Pinch roller FEED
Paper is returned to the standby
position and the pinch roller moves
to the HOME position.
Unit waits until the head temperature
is decreased to 60dC.
When the paper is stored
in the standby position
Pinch roller FEED
Paper is fed to the paper pass sensor.
Pinch roller moves
to the print position.
Thermal head moves
to the standby position
Ribbon Y cueing
Paper is fed to the paper edge sensor.
Paper is fed to the print position.

Thermal head moves
to the print position
Printing of one color
(ribbon feed and paper transport)
After the printing is completed,
the thermal head moves
to the PEEL position.
After the ribbon is detached,
the ribbon and paper stop.
Thermal head moves
to the standby position
Removal of ribbon slacking
Ribbon cueing & paper returning
Ribbon Y cueing & paper feeding
to the cut position
First cutting & moving to the
IC tag position of the pinch roller
Paper is fed by cutting length
& ribbon tag writing
Moving to the pinch roller print position
& second cutting
When the printing
is not continued
Thermal head moves
to the home position.
Moving to the pinch roller
FEED position
Removal of ribbon slacking &
paper returning to the standby position
Pinch roller moves
to the home position.
Thermal head moves
to the print position.
Fan OFF
Plunger OFF
