In the figure below, the charging station is placed in a corresponding position in Area 2. The guide loop will
then be shorter than 300 metres (1000 ft). By increasing the corridor width for the boundary wire the
mower, when searching, will run past several passages instead of running through them.

In this example the charging station is placed by an island. The easiest way to reach Area 1 is with the help
of the Exit angles function.
The working area contains many islands, which results in long search times. By increasing the corridor
width for the boundary wire, the search times are reduced, as the mower will then run past unnecessary
passages. However this does suggest a risk of tracks forming. Consequently, a guide wire is
recommended.
