On-Screen Menu Navigation

The on-screen menus allow you to enable or disable various functions
on your HDD & DVD Recorder.

Press the MENU button to open the on-screen menu and then use the
|
|
following buttons to navigate through the on screen menus.

▲▼, ◄ ► buttons
1.
Press these buttons on the remote control to move the selection bar
▲▼, ◄ ► to cycle through the menu options.
EXIT
2. OK button
Press this button on the remote control to confi rm any new settings.
3. RETURN button
Press this button on the remote control to return to the Previous menu
screen displayed or to exit the on-screen menu.
4. EXIT button
Press this button to exit the on-screen menu.
Plug & Auto Setup
Your HDD & DVD Recorder will automatically set itself up when it is
plugged in for the fi rst time. TV stations and clock will be stored in
memory. The process takes a few minutes. Your HDD & DVD Recorder
will then be ready for use.
1. Connect the RF cable as indicated on page 18.
(Connecting Your HDD & DVD Recorder to the TV Using the RF Cable
and scart cable.)
To use HDMI cable (not supplied), make the Audio/Video connection
|
|
before plugging in the power cord or after fi nishing the "Plug & Auto
|
| Setup. " Do not connect the HDMI cable while the "Plug & Auto Setup" is
progressing.
2. Plug the HDD & DVD Recorder into the mains. "AUTO" in the front panel
display fl ickers.
Press the OK or ► button, then Country option display.

Press the ▲▼ buttons to select the desired country option, then press

|
the OK button.
|
|
Press the OK or ► button, then Language option display.
4.
Press the ▲▼ buttons to select the desired language option, then
press the OK button.
Press the OK or ► button, then Time Zone option display.
5.
Press the ◄► buttons to select the desired time zone option.
| Press the ▲▼ buttons to select OK, then press the OK button.

|
Press the OK or ► button, then Daylight Saving Time option display.
6.

Press the ▲▼ buttons to select Auto, On or Off , then press the OK
|
button.
If you select Auto, then Daylight Saving Time will change automatically
when it is time to change the data.
