button. The display will read 8888
5.1.3 Press and release the push button
within 5 sec. The display will read the
program code, "A_2.0" or higher.
5.1.4 Press and release the push button
again within 5 sec. The display will read
"rSEt". Press and release the push
button again within 5 sec. to reset the
original factory calibration. (NOTE;
Resetting the factory calibration may
also reset the pressure units of measure
and/or the tube type.)
5.1.5 When the program has advanced
to next mode, the display will read either
"torr" or "hPA" (millibar). If the
pressure units are correct do nothing and
the display will automatically advance to
the next mode in about 5 sec. If you
wish to change the pressure units, press
and release the push button within 5 sec.
The new pressure units will be displayed
and in about 5 sec. the display will
advance to the next program mode.
5.1.6 When the program has advanced
to the next mode, the display will read
either "d-4", "d-6", d-4C", or "d-6C"
(NOTE: The d-4 and d-6 settings are not
used with the AVC module.) If the tube
setting is correct, do nothing and the
display will automatically advance to the
next mode in about 5 sec. If you wish to
change the tube setting, press and release
the push button within 5 sec. until the
correct tube setting is displayed. In
about 5 sec. the display will advance to
the next program mode.

MODEL 4/6 RETURNS TO THE

MEASUREMENT MODE AND
READS "_or_".
This takes about 50 seconds.
5.2
CUSTOM CALIBRATION
CAUTION: The MODEL 4/6 will only
accept two high calibration points two
low calibration points. Do not attempt to
perform a custom calibration unless you
can establish, hold, and accurately
measure 20 Torr and 0.10 Torr for the
DV-4 or 1 Torr and 0.001 Torr for the
DV-6.
5.2.1 With the AVC module plugged
into either a DV-4 or DV-6 gauge tube
and the tube at atmospheric pressure,
turn the MODEL 4/6 OFF.
5.2.2 Press and hold the push button
and turn the MODEL 4/6 ON. As soon
as the power is ON, release the push
button. The display will read 8888

within 5 sec. The display will read the
program code, "A_2.0" or higher.
5.2.4 Press and release the push button
again within 5 sec. The display will read
"rSEt". Do nothing and the display will
advance to the next mode in about 5 sec.
5.2.5 The display will read the
pressure units previously selected. Do
nothing and the display will
automatically advance to the next mode
in about 5 sec.
5.2.6 The display will read either the
"d-4C", or "d-6C" you previously
selected. Do nothing and the display
