Adding Coolant

If a small amount of coolant has to be
added (due to evaporation of water),
plain water can be used.
If a larger quantity of coolant has to
be added, a 50/50 mixture of water
and anticorrosion/antifreeze should
be used.
Warning!
Do not remove pressure cap on
coolant reservoir if engine tempera
ture is above 90° C/194° F. Allow
engine to cool down before removing
cap. The coolant reservoir contains
hot water and is under pressure.
Using a rag, turn cap to first notch to
relieve excess pressure. If opened
immediately, hot scalding fluid and
steam will be blown out under
pressure.
The drain plugs for the cooling
system are located on the right-hand
side of the engine block and the
bottom of the radiator.
