1. Remove key switch.
2. Set multimeter to ohms.
3. With the key switch in the OFF position, connect
meter lead to key switch terminal G.
4. Connect other meter lead to key switch terminals M
and L. If no continuity is shown, replace key switch.

5. With the key switch in the RUN/LIGHTS position,
connect meter lead to key switch terminal B.
6. Connect other meter lead to key switch terminal L. If
no continuity is shown, replace key switch.
Z400 Series
7. With the key switch still in the RUN/LIGHTS position,
HUS1095
connect meter lead to key switch terminal A.
8. Connect other meter lead to key switch terminal Y. If
no continuity is shown, replace key switch.
9. With the key switch in the RUN position, connect
meter lead to key switch terminal B.
10. Connect other meter lead to key switch terminal L. If
HUS1097
no continuity is shown, replace key switch.
