Remove and Install
Transmission

Removal

1. Park and prepare machine for service. See "Prepare
Equipment for Service" on page 1-13.
2. Remove drive belt. See "Remove and Install Ground
Drive Belt" on page 5-12.
3. Raise machine and support with appropriate stands.
4. Remove wheel.

5. Loosen nut (1).
6. Remove nuts (2), spacer (3), and spring (4).
7. Remove control rod (5).

8. Remove fasteners (6) and brake caliper (7).
9. Remove nut (1), hub (8), and rotor (9).
10. Remove fasteners (10) and transmission (11).

Installation

Installation is done in reverse order of removal.
• Tighten fasteners (1 and 6) to specification.
