CONTROLS

Steering Controls

The machine's direction is variable using the two
steering controls. The steering controls can be
moved forward and back from a neutral position.
See Steering in the Operation section.

Operator Presence Control

The left steering control is also the Operator
Presence Control (OPC). The lever must be down
and parallel with the right lever for operation.

Ignition Switch

The ignition switch is used to start and stop the
engine.

Throttle Control

The throttle control regulates the engine speed
and the rate of rotation of the blades, assuming
the blade switch is pulled out.
To increase or decrease the engine speed, the
control is moved forward or back respectively.
Avoid idling the engine for long periods, as there
is a risk of fouling the spark plugs. USE FULL
THROTTLE WHEN MOWING, for best mower
performance and battery charging.

Choke Control

The choke control is used for cold starts to
provide the engine with a richer fuel mixture. For
cold starts, pull the control up.

Blade Switch

To engage the mower deck, pull the knob out;
mower blades are disengaged when the knob is
pressed down.
