• Not enough blood or control
solution was drawn into the
test strip for measurement. –
Discard the test strip and
repeat the test.
• Blood or control solution was
applied to the test strip before
the flashing test strip and drop
symbol appeared on the
display. – Discard the test strip
and repeat the test.
• The test strip was bent before
the test started or during the
test. – Discard the test strip
and repeat the test.
• A test strip is stuck in the
meter. – Hold the meter
upright so the test strip is
pointing downwards. Slide and
release
to turn off the
meter and release the test
strip. If the test strip does not
drop out, remove it manually,
even if you feel some
resistance.
• The test strip may be
damaged. – Discard the test
strip and repeat the test.
• The test strip was pulled out
of the meter. – Slide and
release
to turn off the
meter. Only remove the test
strip from the meter by sliding
and releasing
.
• Condensation has affected the
electronics. – Allow the meter
time to dry slowly.
