MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

Do not use any cleaning or descaling
products for cleaning the soleplate or
the base-unit. Never hold the iron or
the base unit under the tap.
11 • Cleaning the station
The iron soleplate:
your iron when it is cool with a damp
cloth or a non-abrasive sponge.
The base unit:
Clean the plastic parts of the
appliance occasionally with a soft cloth.
12 • Easy descaling of your
steam station
Do not use any descaling substances
(vinegar, industrial descaling products,
etc.) when rinsing the scale collector: they
could damage it.
Before emptying your steam station, it
must always be left to cool for 2 hours to
avoid any risks of scalding.
The water in the appliance may still be
hot and cause burns even after 2 hours of
cooling down. Handle the appliance with
care when then collector is removed,
particularly when you are emptying it.
• To extend the life of your steam station and
avoid scale on your ironing, your steam station
is equipped with a built-in scale collector. This
collector, located in the boiler, automatically
removes the scale that forms inside.
Operation:
• An orange "Calc Away OK button" light located

carried out unless the steam station has
been unplugged for at least two hours and

this operation, the steam station must be
