Setting Up the Stationary
Cutting Units
Model 33145 for 3 Cutting Units
Parts needed for this procedure:

Frame support
1
Large cotter pin
1
Center frame
2
Trailing frame
1
Stationary drawbar
10
Locknut (1/2 inch)

Spacer

Bolt (1/2 x 2-1/2 inches)

Bolt (1/2 x 1-1/4 inches)
1
Small cotter pin
1
Shackle
1
Clevis pin

U-bolt
Procedure
1.
Secure the frame support to the center frame
with the large cotter pin.
2.
Align the brackets on each the stationary
drawbar with the brackets on a cutting unit
crossbar.
3.
With the bolt heads facing the inside of the
drawbar, secure both sides of the drawbar to a
crossbar bracket with a bolt (1/2 x 2-1/2 inches),
spacer, and locknut (1/2 inch).

Note:
If you are attaching Spartan cutting
units, drawbar clamps (sold separately, Part No.
5–1090) and mounting fasteners will be required
to mount the drawbar to crossbar of the cutting
unit

Align the mounting holes in the stationary
drawbar to holes in the center frame.
5.
Install a lift chain to each cutting unit with a small
cotter pin, shackle, and clevis pin.
6.
Connect a trailing frame to both rear corners of
the center frame with a U-bolt and 2 locknuts
(1/2 inch).
